Announcing your first wave of artists: a quick guide
Announcing your lineup is a key communication milestone for your festival. To best support you in this process, here's a
detailed guide for adding and publishing your artists via the FEST Backstage CMS:
Step 1: Adding Artists in Draft Mode
- Access your FEST space: backstage.festapp.io
- Click on the "Artists" section.
- You can now add all the artists included in your lineup. This will initially save them as drafts.
Step 2: Publishing Your Lineup
- Once your entire lineup is added, go to the "Settings - Information" section.
- Click the "Make artists visible" button to publish all the artists on the application.

- It is recommended to provide as much information as possible for each artist (biography, photographs, external
links, etc.) to enrich the user experience on the application.
- The bulk publishing feature allows you to control the precise moment your lineup announcement goes live.
